My Trip
I was fortunate enough to travel to Spain twice over the past couple of years. I went to improve not only on the pitch but as an individual, learning about the difference in cultures, and how to be more independent. I had to learn how to balance my education, my training and my social life all in a different country under no supervision. These trips have been a huge part of my development as a person throughout my schooling years.
The friendships and bonds that were made were amazing, ones in which I will keep for life. I saw things that people my age dream of seeing, I was literally living the dream of so many young athletes across the world. I got to travel across Spain to play and watch football. It was such a surreal experience that I will hold in my heart for the rest of my life no matter where my path takes me.
