Basketball Tournament
Over my time in the Big Picture Program I had many ideas on Sap projects I wanted to do, but I always found myself falling short.
This was until my last regular term of school.
A group of year 12/11 student and I decided we wanted to host a basketball tournament to raise money and awareness for mens mental health.
The tournament ended up exceeding our expectations, we ended up getting sponsored by grip star socks, and we ended up getting #talk2mebro to come speak to our students about mens mental health.
We raised over $3,500 from our gofundme page and our BBQ from the day of the tournament. This Money was then donated to #talk2mebro for all the good they do in our society and across Australia, helping people deal with the tough times in their lives.
